How We Help

Every penny Mansfield Rotary raises goes back into the community. Sleigh collections, Swimathon sponsorship, BBQs and Burns Night tickets all add up — and here’s where that money goes.

Local good causes

Regular donations to organisations doing vital work on our doorstep — Sherwood Forest Food Bank, the Salvation Army’s toy appeal and Christmas meal, Age Concern Mansfield, residents’ associations and many more.

Life-saving equipment

We’ve funded public defibrillators at Berry Hill Park and Portland College — registered on The Circuit national network — and we cover their ongoing running costs too.

Young people

Junior Showtime, Young Chef, the Courage Awards, Swimathon trophies and our Youth Services team — investing in Mansfield’s next generation all year round.

The wider world

Through Rotary International we support global causes — from disaster relief to the worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, which Rotarians have backed since 1985.

Does your organisation need our support?

If you’re a local charity, school or community group with a project that could use a helping hand — financial or hands-on — we’d love to hear about it. Every request is considered by our community team.
